- Your washboard, trumpet, vibraphone, melodica, or other instruments (if you feel like it)
- Notebook and pen to help you remember everything you learn (including other peoples' names)
- Phone and/or GPS
- Bobby pins for your pin curls and victory rolls
- Mustache wax for those old-timey mustaches
